SC produces great football talent but the lack of exposure leaves our players at a disadvantage when it comes to being recruited at the sophomore/junior years of high school. HSBlitz is working to change the course of this disservice to our student athletes. We aim to make SC a feeding ground for all college coaches.
High School Blitz works to gain exposure for SC players via social media.
High School Blitz was formed in 2015 with the idea of helping South Carolina football players gain more exposure via social media. As of February 2020, High School Blitz has surged into the forethought of college coaches, high school coaches and players along with an increasing fan base. Our social media platforms: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram have a combined 32,000+ followers and our influential presence continues to expand every day.
High School Blitz 1st Annual All-Star Game
HSBlitz first ever all star game was held at Broome High School on January 4, 2020. It was mainly made up of upper state players as Blitz originated out of Anderson, SC. The dream and the plan is to make it statewide and to alternate the game location between an update location and a lower state location.
Junior Showcase Bowl Game 2020
South Carolina's First Ever Junior All-Star Game
On December 29, 2020, at Ben Lippen High School, The Schutt's Junior Showcase Bowl Game came to fruition. A game where South Carolina's best 88 juniors from across the state came together in head-to-head competition to showcase their skills, despite the COVID-19 pandemic and despite the light rain on that day. While many of our neighboring states had done this before, this was South Carolina's first-ever junior "all-star" game. The players that participated lived up to the hype and anticipation of the game! It was a great success and many players went on to receive offers to play at the next level! Thank you to all of the coaches, parents, and sponsors for making this game a success. A special thank you to Schutt's Helmets and Phenom Lite for making sure our players look the part.
