The SC High School Blitz Junior Showcase was held again for the 4th year at Brookland-Cayce High School on MLK Weekend on January 14, 2024. We were able to continue our partnership with the South Carolina Army National Guard and provide a Salute to Soldiers pre-game show. Once again the game carried on in ELITE fashion with the top Juniors in South Carolina going head-to-head. And just like the Senior Showcase in Decemeber, this was the first year that we had NO RAIN! It was cold but the sun was shining and it made for great football whether. This year we had another FIRST by having the Junior game livestreamed on QwikCut. It was not without its hiccups, but we strive for a better experience next year.
Congratulations to the WEST TEAM as they took home the dub again this year! The Game MVP was awarded to ANTHONY ADDISON of Sumter High School. Congratulations to all of our position MVP winners!
The coaches for our JUNIOR Showcase game for the 2025 class had a lot to deal with this year. Coach Bobby Collins from South Pointe HS, who stepped in for the West Team when Coach Greg Porter became ill the week of the game. The East team was led by Coach Jamie Johnson from Darlington HS. Both coaches and their staff did an excellent job getting the players ready despite severe weather that derailed there very first walk thru practice. They were able to make the proper adjustments and regroup without missing a beat. It's a testament to what makes them great coaches!

She was presented with a framed jersey which would have been Jack's jersey for the game. She also got to present the OL MVP belt (that will forever be known as the Jack Alkhatib OL MVP belt) to this year's standout winner.
Dutch Fork football players participating in the game stood beside her and held hands as everyone stood and clapped in support and honor.
